Monotype Demonstration
As the Fall semester has started up again, I don’t have as much time to focus on my own personal work, but I do get to demonstrate different techniques in class that I may not otherwise work with. I’ve always enjoyed the monotype process, where it combines drawing and painting skills with subtractive techniques like wiping areas with cotton for a uniquely soft effect.

Portraits in Quarantine
Drawing quick portraits is a great way to break the monotony in quarantine, especially in exchange with fellow artist friends. You can use a mirror, photos, or even directly from video chats.
